IDRIJA LACE – A SYMPHONY OF INTERTWINED THREADS, art exhibition by the Idrija Cinnabar Art Association members

Idrija lace is a living cultural heritage that tells the story of the past and faces the challenges of the present and the future. Several institutions, associations, and individuals are working to preserve and continue the Idrija lacemaking tradition, which is recognised throughout the world. The Idrija Cinnabar Art Association seeks to preserve lacemaking stories in the language of art. The selection of artworks for the exhibition at this year’s Festival is aimed at this very purpose.
