Idrija Lace School is presenting the new lacemaking manual Idrijska čipka: Pike in kugle (Idrija lace: Dots and Balls). In a play of new shapes and motifs, traditional techniques will open the horizons of the possibilities of Idrija lace and expand the creative possibilities.

The topic of the new manual inspires this year’s Idrija lace workshop. The presented techniques will be applied to products such as jewellery or lace inserts. A basic knowledge of lacemaking is a necessary precondition to join, along with prior application.
