BEAUTIFUL IN LACE – live exhibition

Idrija Lacemaker Association members hold Idrija Lace Festival as a special holiday. All the sacrifice and every hour sitting at the pillow during the lacemaking season from October to May are forgotten. Usually, the work of diligent lacemakers is exhibited in galleries but, this year, things will be different. Since the lacemakers are what is alive in this beautiful craft, they will make lace for themselves for a change. Wearing their diverse lace creations in the colours of the association, the lacemakers will be an important part of the festival.
