Idrija Lace School
For as long as 140 years, the Idrija Lace School has been continuously working on preserving, transferring and developing Idrija lacemaking skills. Over 400 children and young people and more than 150 adults learn to make Idrija lace every year. More than 1,000 visitors visit the school’s lace exhibition every year and try their hand at making bobbin lace. The Lace School offers a wide range of quality products with Idrija lace from their own production, as well as books, lace patterns, accessories and materials for lacemaking.

MAL fashion sewing studio
The studio offers boutique bobbin lace, unique products, and lace application: on offer are fashion accessories, mandalas, various puzzles with bobbin lace, fashionable and historical clothes made according to the records and photos of our ancestors, and business gifts. All unique products are made with the traditional technique of bobbin lacemaking from Idrija, enriched with Swarovski crystals, semi-precious stones, metal, wood and shell elements. The unique pieces are Duo certified and are the work of Lidija Anzelm, Urška Guček Pagon and Pia Anzelm.

Idrija Lace Gallery by Irma Vončina
The Gallery has been designing and producing unique curtains, business gifts, tablecloths, souvenirs and cute fashion accessories with Idrija lace since 1995. The sales gallery in Ljubljana, IDRIJA LACE GALLERY, offers traditionally made Idrija lace with geographical origin. Slovenia’s protocol gift to the Japanese Imperial Court at Princess Sajako’s wedding in 2006 (lace gloves and a decorative handkerchief) and Idrija lace bedding, which Slovenia donated together with a cradle to the British court upon the birth of Prince George deserves a special mention.

STUDIO KODER d.o.o. IDRIJA is a family business founded in 1991. It combines architecture, design and the sales gallery of Idrija lace. Lace is made according to traditional and individually designed patterns for the needs of fashion textiles and interior design. The offer also includes business gifts in their original packaging with hand-written dedications. The studio participates in domestic and international exhibitions and events. In 2012, it received the prestigious “Golden Vine” award of the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia.

Tina Koder Grajzar, BSc Textiles and Clothing Design. Tina has been designing her own modern copyrighted patterns for Idrija lace and products with its application since 2006. In the sales gallery at Krakovska ulica 22 in Ljubljana, there are always a few products from the permanent offer available to customers. It is also possible to commission customised lace designs. The sales gallery regularly hosts lacemaking and pattern-drawing courses. A selection of Tina Koder Grajzar’s products can also be found in the Studio Koder sales gallery in Idrija.
