**BOBBIN-LACE FLOWER FOR THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY – lacemaking workshop for adults

20 June: 9 AM to 12.45 PM

This year, the lacemaking workshop for adults celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Idrija Lace School. The participants will make a flower that includes the logo of the lace school. The logo represents a synergy of know-how, tradition, development, and innovation. Through making a 3D flower in the techniques of tape lace and half stitch, you will learn how to include a wire in the lace. Participating at the workshop, you will not only acquire new knowledge but also feel the atmosphere of the institution where Idrija lace has been a source of inspiration for 150 years already.
