The exhibition of contemporary lace collars explores Idrija lace as a part of identity and creative expression. We understand tradition as a starting point, not a limitation. We observe, deconstruct, and recompose old patterns into contemporary, daring forms. Interested in beauty, aesthetics, and fashion, we look into the stories of lace. A collar becomes a canvas where the past and the present are intertwined. Cultural heritage is kept alive – through new ideas, fresh perspectives, and the courage to transform the old into something that speaks to the world of today.
