The annual exhibition Together, We Can and We Do 2025 presents the handmade Idrija bobbin laceworks created by the children and the youngsters, bearers of the heritage inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Bees flying from flower to flower … Any idea where we are headed? To a meadow full of flowers, petals, and buzzing. It is not just the bees that are working hard! The nimble fingers of the Idrija Lace School Students, our little bees, have prepared an exhibition of laceworks from the 2024/25 school year that use traditional techniques and elements of Idrija lace. If the meadow is our class, the flowers are the pillows for creating lace, and the petals are the lace, then the buzzing is the relaxed joy and communication between us. Welcome to our beehouse to see the honey threads!

Keep an eye out for the lace you find the most beautiful! You can vote for it between 13 and 15 June until 2 PM. The student who created the winning lace as well as the voter who will be drawn will receive a prize.
